If we don't think there is
a realistic chance that our work will help you we won't accept the
project—no matter how much it pays. We've got lots of business
experience and have bought our share of useless services sold by
unscrupulous (or maybe just ignorant) people. We won't do the same to
you.

If we do work with you,
and you don't achieve the results we promised within a reasonable time
(despite following our advice) we will offer to resign and release you
from any remaining terms or obligations.

We will at all times
provide you with honest feedback about your business—good and bad.
If your management style is alienating your employees, we'll let you
know. If your nephew is a liability for your company, we'll let you
know. If your company brochure is an embarrassment, we'll let you
know. And if your current direct mail letter is so good there's no way
we could improve on it, we'll let you know that too (see the first
point above!)

Regardless of the size of
your company and your marketing budget, we will always recommend what
we believe to be the best bang for your marketing buck. If we think
two colours will work as well as four, we'll recommend it. If we think
you're not getting enough benefit from your yellow pages display
advertising, we'll tell you to dump it (even if we lose the job of
designing it in the future).
